Mount Daniel

Climbing the 45-degree angle to the top of Mount Daniel takes about an hour going at a steady pace.

Great views of Pender, the sloughs, and beyond.

I had my ISO set at 400 which was probably unnecessary with the sweet morning light.  100 would have been better. Sometimes I get so “in the moment” I forget to check some of the technical details. That is one reason I always take at least one photo before I get going anywhere. That way I’m sure my battery is charged and in the camera, and the memory card is in.

Great exercise and the vista made it all worthwhile.
